Beautiful Easter birthday tea. Food and tea options delicious. Service attentive, kind and considerate. Prices are high, would be nice to have a moderate price option for different budgets.

FogRose Atelier has a rotating menu, and since we went in April, ours was Spring-themed. The food was outstanding: lovely presentation, wonderful flavors, and honestly, quite filling. The scones were delightful and the savory options were delicious. The desserts were artistic and flavorful. Our servers were on top of it, bringing us tea as needed, but otherwise just letting us enjoy ourselves once the food was brought out. They were very attentive and kind. The price may seem steep - and I'm pretty frugal - but I can definitely say it was well worth it for the experience.

Fog Rose Atelier is a dream for afternoon tea! The ambiance is intimate, luxurious, and bright. I found the tea list well-curated and was able to try as many as my heart desired. The tiered treats were as stunning as they were delicious!

I wish they just put the teapots on the table we had to keep waiting for our tea to be filled. Also, wish the top tier desserts were smaller size and get more scones.

Overall okay. Just that there was couple kids running around in the restaurant, the noise level was a bit high. Food was okay. Not outstanding.

We have been to Fogrose when they were at their Bellevue location and thoroughly enjoyed it. Food, environment, service, very well executed. The current incarnation in Kirkland is a bit different. The feel is much more casual and the setting a mix between a kids birthday party setting - there is a basket of costume tiaras and hats to wear - and a quickly assembled pop up/temporary space. The star of the show is the quality and sophistication of the food which felt out of place in the casual surrounding and was delicious and fresh. A great mix of savory and sweet. A great variety of teas not quite as hot as I’d prefer but flavorful.

Beautiful addition to the downtown Kirkland vibe! A better understanding of where the front door is located is a necessary addition for this business, but overall a wonderful setting, good tea, delicious food. We really enjoyed our time.

Lovely afternoon tea experience. Food was pretty good. It's a unique afternoon tea in the they allow you to try as many teas as you want on the menu rather than having you commit to a type. Atmosphere and space was stylish and modern, with comfortable seating. Price was less steep than other afternoon teas in the area. Good experience and would go again.

I recently hosted a baby shower at FogRose. To make a long story short, I would not choose this venue again. First red flag, it was nearly impossible to reach anyone to make pre-event arrangements. When I did finally reach someone they confirmed that we could arrive ahead of our reservation to set up decorations, offered additional fixtures for gifts/etc., and most importantly confirmed that the menu was currently 100% nut free. Our guest of honor has a severe allergy, which the FogRose representative assured me would be handled safely & duly noted on our reservation to ensure no cross contamination occurred. Upon arrival (at the agreed upon time) on the day of the party, we found the doors locked. The staff eventually agreed to let us in, but had not been informed of the early arrival, gift table request, etc. Even worse, as the meal was served we discovered that: 1) more than one item DID include nuts, 2) all items were served together on shared platers (a huge cross contamination risk) and 3) our server had not been informed of our guest’s allergy. While the staff attempted to rectify the error, the solutions/communication didn’t do much to instill confidence in their food handling training. Given the risks, our pregnant friend understandably opted to skip the meal. If you’ve ever been pregnant and seated in front of multiple platters of food for 2+ hours, you know the immense risk that would lead one to opt out of participating. We are so disappointed that this was her experience at her own baby shower. I am generally quick to forgive a single bad experience at a restaurant. Communication errors happen. However FogRose has ignored every attempt I have made to engage in a dialog about our experience. Through multiple outreach attempts I have received just one reply, promising a response which never came. My advice - if you’re looking for a space for a special event, book elsewhere. It’s worth it to find a space that will treat your event with care.

Loved our time here. Food was delicious. We had ratatouille, sandwiches, scones and some desserts. They were very nice, and tea came quick! We were all able to try many different types. The spoons and table settings were very cute and they had tiaras you could wear. A very expensive day, but 90 minutes was the right amount of time to appreciate it.
