   This was the second time in a year we’ve taken our two teenage (full price) grandchildren to different Fogo de Chão locations. Each place was absorbed in aggressive sales culture, pushing add-ons after we declined multiple times. Offering drinks was one thing, but then it was the mega meal for $20 more, the shrimp cocktail, the cappuccino, the dessert, etc. STOP! Once they brought our granddaughter some red meat that was practically raw. No apology. Just walked away and ran back to the kitchen with the rest of the skewer. It was clear we were blacklisted after declining the add-ons. While the grandparents were done, the kids still wanted more meat. Their green discs were clearly showing. I even made eye contact with three servers, pointed to the green discs, but each walked right past us to serve other tables.

   My party and I were a bit disappointed. Service was very very slow and very limited choices. There was more cold gods than hot foods available. We had to pay extra for shrimp! The food is overpriced and not as good as it used to be. Diane one of the waitresses was great, when complained that we’re not being served, she jumped in a brought us some lamb chops. She was very nice. She saved the day.

   Service was bad, and the food was horrible. For $65-$85 a person, you can get a far better meal anywhere else.

   We celebrated my friends 60th birthday & she specifically asked for this location. I love downtown DC but this location was bright & airy. Parking was a challenge, I am spoiled by valet. The food & service were terrific! Will definitely return soon!

   Julian was a great server. Our orders, requests, and drinks were filled. Where we got our table was perfect which was close to the salad bar, but away from the noise of the front half of the restaurant. Overall, we had a great experience.

   Most of the steak was cooked well done but beyond that everything was awesome. Service was unmatched.

    Fogo has long been a family favorite, but after last night it is unlikely that I will return. Seafood Tower had to be returned due to a freshness concern. Bad seafood can kill you! Staff (once tracked down) took it away and removed it from our bill. Next, my cocktail took more than 30 minutes to arrive and also had to be sent back. Overall, service was poor. It was Saturday night and it was crowded, but those are 2 things that this establishment should be prepared for. Very disappointing.
