   Our first contact was the hostess who was very nice and attentive. Our first server, a woman, was a bit dismissive w/a tad bit of unfriendly attitude. She didn't check on us as much as she was others. We felt ignored by her. That was made up for by the attentiveness of the meat servers, the ladies picking up our used plates, and another young man who may have been a senior server or associate manager. He checked on us regularly, got us our check w/the discount and asked if there was anything else we needed. Those folks were awesome still; our tip did reflect the feeling we had from the first (female) server. If we could have individually tipped the servers who were pleasant, we would have.

   The waitstaff explained that they share tables. However they didn’t seem to be communicating well because it l took a nearly half an hour to get the soft drinks we ordered. We asked for extra plantains and rolls, which never came. And getting our bill took forever because they didn’t know what we ordered.

   This is thee Fogo location to visit. Today proves no matter what time of day I dine here, the quality service, respect, delicious food and atmosphere is top notch all the time. Doing it right 1,2, or 3 times is easy. Maintaining consistency is the hard part and FDCABQ has my visits and expectation down to a science. Ronin, Andrew, Ashley, and everyone in between were perfect.

   We frequently go here for the wonderful experience. We brought someone who had never been there only to be embarrassed and disappointed. The wait staff completely forgot about us for almost 30 minutes at a time. We don’t ever complain but we were charged for the add on experience (about $20 more per person) expecting lobster tail and got nothing. Again, they forgot about it. We were celebrating a birthday and got absolutely no option for a dessert. We would’ve even paid for it. It took a while for someone to stop by our table to ask if we needed anything. By then, we were ready to leave. The staff whispered under their breath like it was our fault. Again, we don’t EVER complain. Even then we politely just shared what happened with the manager. We might go back, maybe. But at a different time. It’s better at night. Don’t go during the lunch hour, the staff is younger and inexperienced. They don’t understand how service works. We overpaid for an awful experience.

   Our servers Olivia and Montgomery were exceptional in their attentiveness to our dining experience. Truly the best visit we have had theme to date.

   4/18/2025 Fogo de Chao is place known for its excellence in service and high quality of food and drinks. I come on a regular basis and have never been disappointed with anything except. . . My "waitress" Taylor. Taylor's attention to detail, common courtesy, and work ethic is like that of a toddler crying in the middle of a movie theater. Rude is an understatement. I assume her obsession of her own lips is why she spills water across the table, breaks dishes / glasses, and continues with poor quality of service along with no common, simple, basic manners with her tables. The sole reason a tip was left is because all tips are split between staff. Literally everything was amazing until we had to deal with Taylor.

   Everything was wonderful, from walking in the door to wobbling out the door. 😁 Food was delicious! Table staff was amazing. We were celebrating a graduation. EXCEPT the one meatserver who was NOT friendly, seamed so annoyed and could possibly use a refresher on customer assistant.
