   We came here on very short notice. We had reservations at another restaurant for breakfast at 9 AM and didn't get seated until 9:11 AM. Then, we weren't even seen by any waitstaff until nearly 9:30 AM. We made reservations at Flint and received the best service and a delicious breakfast for two!

   Enjoyed dinner with out of town friends before a concert. Those who ordered the Ebony (squid ink) pasta couldn’t say enough good things about it!! The salmon with my Caesar salad was amazing - only critique was the salad dressing was too light for my taste. Drinks were good. Overall enjoyed the restaurant and dining experience.

   Food was great, slow service though. Waited forever for our drinks from the bar.. close to 20 mins. Our appetizers came before drinks. Waitress was sweet but we waited along time to order.. get checks.. etc. she had another bigger table in the enclosed “business room” and it was clearly felt that her attention was there and not on our party of 6. Also, as nice as a restaurant as this is, the checkbook they leave at table with your check inside are literally falling apart. All 3 of us couples thought- man these are Nasty. Really should uogeade those. We Would eat here again but not on a busy night or if we are in any hurry.

   I thought that it took more time than it should have to have the first contact with someone at the host station. Everything else was great.

   Took my 16yo daughter out for our usual daddy/daughter date. Valet parking was full but the attendant took my key and phone number with a promise to text ticket info when my truck had a place. True to his word, I got a text in about 10 minutes. We were taken immediately to our table, a beautiful round booth directly on the corner with a view of the entire restaurant and the outside happenings on a Saturday night. There was live music that night. And it was good. Made it hard to converse at times as they were directly in front of us, but we enjoyed it. My daughter had a delicious mocktail called Sunset Dream, $10. I opted for 12yo The Macallan $24. We started with a dozen oysters, $36, and fried green tomatoes, $13. Entrees were Salman Pasta, $36, and Caesar’s salad w/Scallops, $29. Dessert was raspberry cheesecake $10, and Warre’s tawny port $26. Oysters were good, could be colder. Fried green tomatoes were warm, not hot. And the crust was too thick. Frozen is my guess. The salmon was a little dry, and black pasta is not appetizing, in my opinion. The scallops were excellent. Hot, and cooked to perfection. Salad was cold and crisp, with just the right amount of Parmesan, croutons, and dressing. The Port, which should be served at room temp, was chilled. A shame. Overall, we had a good time, but felt it was overpriced.

    Had a great time at Flint. Food was absolutely delicious and worth the price, drinks were solid, and our server was great!
