   Had a fabulous meal, all obviously made by people who have a passion for their cooking and we were made very welcome with personable and warm staff

   As usual this place serves the most delicious food. The chef is very friendly and skilled, her food is made with so much care and love. The staff is also lovely, and the restaurant itself bursts with colours and memories of Mauricius. Please go try their food, you won't regret it! Alex and Matt

   What a fantastic restaurant this is! We enjoyed a good few hours of food, drink and chat. It was my wife’s birthday and everything was arranged for perfection. The food was amazing, we had a number of starters including taro root fritter, prawn and octopus croquettes. With some homemade chutney and paste.The curries were delicious and my son had the upside down bowl. It was all brilliant cooked and tasted amazing. We will definitely be back again. Try here you won’t be disappointed.

   Amazing food as always. That’s what we go for. Good choice of wine and rum. If you like good food, freshly cooked, that’s a little different yet amazing, go here for the food alone. Highly recommended.

   Came here on a Friday night for a Christmas Party with 5 of us. The service and food was very good, its owner run, she takes a lot of passion into what she is serving which makes a change. I was surprised at how quiet it was for a Friday night before Christmas tho, we were pretty much the only people in there. I would come back again as I really enjoyed the food, give it a go, you won't be dissapointed!

   Lovely friendly staff and welcome, food nice but a bit bland. Didn’t know it was a theme night and that the main menu was off that evening. Very good dj and music

   Disappointing experience. Food is good (quite spicy), but service and atmosphere totally lacking. We went Friday eve and was v quiet, quite cold (we kept our jackets on), new waitress who couldnt advise on any of the food or drinks, extremely slow to get a cocktail (£10-12 each) and then they came one at a time. Our mains were good (Octopus stew - very tasty. a spicy chicken dish and really nice flatbreads).

    Visited on 3rd November, food was amazing and good vegan selection if you're interested. Do try the exceptional chocolate cake it was heavenly! Couldn't fault the service, staff very friendly and attentive and food arrived promptly. We were dining early evening so it was quiet as you would expect. Bit pricey but happy with the value, everything's going up right! We will definitely be going back.
