PLEASE NOTE ... According to the manager on the premise this restaurant DOES NOT WORK WITH OPEN TABLE.... they do not accept reservations unless they you call it in.. The manager was very nice and made a tale for us for 10 people. I guess we were lucky the restaurant had enough space available to put the tables together and they were not so busy. After the headache of not having a reservation and having them prepare a table for us, the food was good and service was excellent .

I thought Flame Persian Cuisine was just terrific. I couldn't stop eating the flatbread that they make right there in the corner of the dining room. This place is a lovely gem of a restaurant. Food and service were excellent.

As always awesome. Great service and very very generous portions. The salmon is to die for. As is with every dish. Been going there for years and always wonderful food Great for large parties of people or intimate enough for two. Great value as always and exceptional service!!!!!!

We went for lunch at just past noon on a Sunday and it was empty. The food was good and so was the service.

The food was very good: The home baked bread is really good and it goes well with kashk-o-bademjoon; although, the kashk-o-bademjoon was a bit on the bland side. I thought it needed more good quality kashk. The tahdig was a bit too hard. The waiter warned me about it and told me that it didn't come out good, but I wanted to try it. He was right! It was VERY hard, but after a few minutes, he brought us another batch that was excellent. We had it with gheymeh. The gheymeh doesn't come meatless. I had forgotten to tell the waiter that my daughter was vegetarian, so he brought some vegetarian bademjoon, which was totally unexpected, since the bademjoon does not even come with tahdig! Kudos to the waiter and the cooks! The chenjeh kabab was outstanding! The best I've had in Los Angeles. I've been to Raffi's and all of Westwood/Valley Persian restaurants. This one was the best! Very good quality filet, no fat, very clean meat and done perfectly. The amount of rice was above average. The vegetables could be grilled a little more, but still very good. We had a non-Iranian guest with us who ordered the chicken koobideh with half salad, half rice. The salad looked like a meal by itself! It had so many different vegetables in it: beets, pineapples, radishes, etc...in addition to the usual lettuce, cucumber, tomato! And the half rice looked like a full rice to me!!! The waiter and busboy were very attentive, personable, and courteous. I wish I had asked the waiter's name to mention it here, but he made us feel welcomed. (The young, on the taller side guy) The only 2 complaints that I would make are the fact that the place was too quiet and at the beginning it was too warm! I think they need to play some soft Persian music and set the temperature to a comfortable level. They did turn on the AC a little later, though. I would definitely recommend Flame Persian Cuisine and visit them again!

Not the eatery it used to be. Food is not as tasty. Value isn't there and you can't remember your patrons. We have eaten at Flame ever since it opened and although under a different ownership we feel something has gone wrong. We shall not return.

We visit LA every year and always have one dinner at a Persian restaurant in Westwood area. I believe this was our first time at Flame. Overall we were very pleased with everything. Portions were huge. There were 3 of us. We shared 2 appetizers (the eggplant dish was excellent). I had two types of beef "kebabs" which were excellent. The other two people both had the lamb shank with different special rices. Both felt the lamb shank was ok but not especially good and tender. Anyone going should note that there is no alcohol served and you are not allowed to bring your own (some restaurants allow the latter, but this is obviously for religious reasons).

We eat here often and love it. On this occasion the gentleman making the fresh bread was quite loud ( constant pounding).
