   Very friendly service and great ambience. The share platter for 2 was all meat…. And we loved it.

   TLDR. 80 minute wait for food, noisy inside, so ended up outside, then it rained. Wanted to go Tuesday night as a walk-in, but only outside tables available and also told they were running out of food Normally closed on a Wed but were going to open, please book online tomorrow morning. We wanted a table for 6:30pm, inside.We booked for 7pm, inside. (Open table asked if it was an occasion, in short, early 80th for mother in law as she lives interstate so taking the opportunity to celebrate then) There was a HUGE group (25-30 people) in one long table across the middle of the restaurant. They were quite loud so we ended up sitting outside. Ordered quickly as table is only allocated for 90 minutes. Wanted broccoli as a side dish, they had not got any. Ordered drinks. Chatted and waited. At about 7:45 we were told food would be out about another 20ish minutes (I was away from table at this point) Ordered another round of drinks (1 glass of red, 1 coffee and another bottle of table water) Started to rain.Could not get umbrella up, went inside to ask for help. Had to shuffle tables around so we had a place to sit under shelter. Given a cloth to dry the table. Asked where food was, told it was coming. At 8::25, my mother in law went in search of waiter to find our food. As our table was only reserved for 90mins, we were going to walk out. Sent back to our table, and at 8:30ish,food FINALLY arrived. (2xpan fried salmon, 1 hamburger, 1 steak M/R, no sidesas they were out of broccoli Food was very nice, all presented well and tasty. In my opinion steak had been left to rest too long and not under heat lamps or similar. Round of herbed butter on it that was still very cold (yes that is nice) but the steak had not enough heat in it to at least melt a little. My steak was tasty and cooked properly for M/R. At this point we are very hungry, and I was not going to upset my mother in law so ate it. I would not book here again.may try walk in but wary of wait times

   Booked because of online menu and was looking forward to Brisket and Cornbread. (Neither available) Menu was significantly different to one advertised online. Despite having a 7pm booking most of mains were unavailable. No ribs, No Brisket No Smoked Chicken. Starter described as fried potato was "Potato Gems" a cheap frozen potato snack available in supermarket frozen section, covered in cheese. Tasted awful. Fries were over cooked and dark brown. Brisket burger, dry and tasteless. We were seated next to drafty door proped open with a beer keg. Never again Waste of money

   Flame Brothers were fantastic, amazing staff, service, and food. Really reasonable prices for the quality food which was truly unique. The cocktails were spectacular. Best long island ice tea ever. Thank you guys. I highly recommend them.

   Food was nice. Service was good. The best part was the backdrop of Halls Gap.

   Loved sitting outside in the mountains with the local kookaburras around to keep us entertained. The food was exceptional and highly recommend!

   Food was delicious, Salmon as the fish of the day was cooked beautifully. Roast potatoes some of the best I've had.

    Friendly, attentive service, great American classics. Ribs exceptional. Lovely ambience sitting outside on a warm summers evening, made more special by our feathered visitors. Thanks Flame Brothers for another great meal!
