We bring all of our guests here when they come to town. Great Happy Hour menu and drink specials. The out door dining is nice in the summer. The food is always fresh and nicely presented. I have been happy to see some of the same servers that have been there for years.

Lunch menu is very limited. Both service and food were very good. Their evening menu is much better.

I had dinner with some relatives visiting from Nashville and we had a lovely meal. The food was excellent, as was the service. My nephew (who was picking up the bill) thought the prices were quite high. Particularly for the amount of food served. Overall, we all liked it very much and had a lovely meal. The restaurant is really attractive. I would add, however, that more signage would help. It's really hard to find. We expected it to be at the front, where the big sign is, but had to ask another merchant where to find the entrance.

A booked in advance for my daughters 21 birthday. They did not acknowledge that fact. I was put off my not being able to have happy hour cocktails at the table as well. I food was very good but on the small size.

Ate on patio. Very peaceful with great view of lake. Inside would rate as medium rather then low noise level

The food was very good, as usual. The waiter was very attentive and engaging (unusual for this place, usually the service is not great). The hostess and the busboy seemed to have no idea what to do at all. We had a reservation but it took the busboy about 7-10 minutes just to clear a table (there were many open though). The hostess was sloppily dressed, apathetic and rarely at the host stand (would seat people then stop, chat, wander around, chat some more). It's like she and the busboy were high or moving through molasses. Very odd. No hustle, no concern for anything, no ability to think or move quickly. But... the food was great!

This would be even better if the tables were spaced differently. The guy sitting at my shoulder drowned out the conversation at my table. The kitchen crew was slapping pans and plates down which was unnecessary noise.

We felt the salads had taken a turn for the worse. The same salads were featured on the menu as when we were last there, but all were much smaller in size and over-priced. The Seafood Stew was great as was the calamari appetizer. Drinks inc wine were also over priced, even though we went on Sunday when bottles are half off. Overall, we felt the quality of the food had gone downhill from the last times we were there a year or so ago.

Both the food and service were very good. The bar area is a great favorite of mine. Jennifer in the bar has been with Five Spice for over 12 years and is a great bartender.
