The Five Oaks Taproom is not a restaurant, it was a bar in a hotel. Management stated a company has added them to the OpenTable App and they should not be listed. Several other visitors has encounter the same concerns. Disappointed nevertheless. Thanks

We made a reservation for dinner, showed up on time, only to find out it is not a restaurant. It is a bar inside a hotel. We were told that we were the 10th group claiming to have reservations We were also told that they don’t take reservations and only have small appetizers. The employee we spoke with was very nice and very baffled!

Complete bait and switch- this is not an actual restaurant but the lobby bar/breakfast area of the Indigo hotel. The dining room was sparse. There was no host/hostess.. It was seat your self and go up to the bar to order everything. Although the staff was pleasant they did not seem too concerned that there were multiple people wondering around looking for a restaurant that wasn’t in fact what they thought they were getting.

Valentine's date dinner. The appetizer did not come out as described. We mentioned to the waitress and she said she would discount for oversight and did not. The prime rib could not be ordered anything under medium. However, the ribeye could be medium rare. We constantly had to request refills. They were extremely short staffed only 3 waitresses that I saw. With all the dinning options available in Savannah, I will probably not go back. The food was very good but the experience was lacking.

We sat for 30 minutes and never talked to a waitress. It is inside a hotel lobby and the ambiance is clean but similar to a free hotel breakfast area, much different than it looked online.

We had a wonderful dinner at the tap room during restaurant week. Would suggest that they use candles and white table cloths In the evening to improve the atmosphere

Ambiance: This restaurant is in a hotel and where they serve you appears to be where the breakfast would be served. Bare fake wood tables and mismatched chairs. Noise: none except for hearing the people at the hotel bar. We were the only ones there. Service: polite and too efficient. Food was brought out at the same time salads and appetizers were served. Had to send main course back. Food: absolutely terrible. Food tasted as if it was warmed up food from a food service company. The mashed potatoes were instant. Food was bland. There was not presentation for the food and did not even look appealing. Obviously the food was not prepared by a skilled chef. Out of four meals they were all bad from the appetizer to the desserts. Value: terrible. We went here for restaurant week. Most places in town were $35 for a prefix menu and they were upscale restaurants. This place was $40!!!!
