   We've been coming to this restaurant for years and this was the worst experience we've ever had. The service in a word was horrible. Never got water refilled, slow to take out order, slow to bring tea/soda refills. Not sure what was going on as there were empty tables so it wasn't crazy busy. Pretzel appetizer was way overpriced for what you got but chicken shnitzel (sp?) was very good. If this was our first visit I would not return.

   All the food was so good (mussels, shrimp dejonghe, sriracha wings, pretzel, fried asparagus), and the bill was actually reasonable. It’s got a relaxed and cool vibe too. I love Firkin.

   Best Old Fashioned in Libertyville! Always love the black bean burger and my husband enjoyed the Jerk Chicken special. Jared is an attentive and friendly server.

   Firkin has great hamburgers and the largest selection of beer in Libertyville. The service was excellent also.

   First time at Firkins and we will definitely be back. I hardly drink beer with my meal but Duvel on tap was hard to pass up. My wife and I were in agreement that our burger was one of the best in recent memory. Friendly service and fun ambience.the other couple we were with were equally happy.

   Service great. Fries were way overcooked for both of us. They should not have been served. Oysters were tasty.

    Fantastic service- food was good but not great. Seating is very tight to squeeze as many in as possible, making the place loud.
