   Very expensive for the size of the portions. The black cod was tiny, at £45 - overpriced. £18 for two small scallops - crazy! Service was ok, ambience was not great - we had to keep our voices low to save the entire restaurant from hearing us. Would not recommend 👎🏻

   Looks lovely menu ok but the concept for the price is insane. You order the large plates and have to wait ages for any sort of sides to go with it. Was not worth the £470 we paid left very hungry

   Poor and rude service. Food nowhere up to standards it was two years ago. The dress code is apparently now jeans, trainers and t-shirt.

   I chose the Firepit for my husband's birthday and it was truly special. I wasn't aware that it was a sharing-style menu but we were delighted by it. It made the experience even more enjoyable and fun to be savouring the delicious food together. We were seated in one of their cosy booths which we appreciated. Appetizers of shrimp tempura and Korean beef skewers were perfection - I especially loved the tender, flavorful beef. Mains of lamb and crispy sea bass were both amazing and full of wonderful flavour. Sides of butternut squash and grilled snap peas were also unique, especially the squash. My husband had a raspberry soufflé for dessert that again was delightful and delicious. The presentation is as good as the food itself. I chose the Firepit because of all the great reviews about the food and I'm glad I did. Rarely do you have a restaurant experience in which every element of the meal is so perfect. Service was attentive. I noticed a few little things that seemed inconsistent with the otherwise high quality experience like not removing empty bottles and glasses from the table (which was small and cramped with dishes and plates), having to ask for water and drink refills, and no notice that it was a birthday celebration which was on the reservation and that I mentioned to the waiter. However none of those things mattered enough to impact our enjoyment. I think the inconsistency was only noticeable because everything else was done with such perfection. It's expensive but worth it especially for a special occassion.

   I visited here for our Mother’s Day dinner today, and I was honestly so disappointed – and that’s putting it mildly. The food was lukewarm, and the service was awful. I had hoped that booking the 12 pm slot would mean it wouldn’t be too busy, and it wasn’t, but I’m still shocked by the terrible service. They didn’t bring us a round of drinks, and the food was served lukewarm. The service felt chaotic and disorganized. Given the cost, I expected more, especially since it’s meant to be a luxury roast dinner. The starters were limited to just three options, all of which were mediocre at best. The mains tasted fine, but honestly, it wasn’t the best roast dinner I’ve had — I could’ve gotten better for cheaper at a local pub. To top it off, after waiting half an hour, they brought out a sharing platter of desserts, which would’ve been fine if we had wanted to share, but we didn’t. This experience was nothing like what I’ve had in the past, and it certainly didn’t make Mother’s Day feel special. I’m honestly shocked, especially considering how great my previous visits have been, and I would have usually highly recommended it. But not this time. I won’t be returning.

   Food was beautiful couldn’t fault it. Sharing food was not as much as expected for two people at £75 per person not great as in not a lot there, although nice way to try a bit of everything . For a few mouthfuls each dish there was to much wait time in between each dish. Poor Service wasn’t great waited far to long for soft drinks even though sat close to bar, restaurant wasn’t busy. The main man was far too pushy and ruined the experience to be honest. For the amount of money we pay to come and stay ruined it a bit.

   As a couple visiting for the first time we chose the taster menu , one with wine one without. The food was nice but the time between courses was very long. The restaurant was full at 7:45 but even at the end three hours later when it had emptied we were still waiting a long time.

   This was an awesome meal with fantastic flavours and very well cooked. For the price the service was a little slow and disappointing- lovely people don’t get me wrong but when spending this much you don’t expect to wait 30mins and ask 3 times for a glass of wine. Small things matter.
