   Dined Al fresco for spouse’s birthday. Lovely evening. Refreshing cocktails to start. Fried green tomatoes with fresh out of the garden relish! Awesome. Entrees were delightful and the key lime pie was epic. Firefly never disappoints!!

   Wonderfully diverse salad. Salmon cooked perfectly. Cheese plate was a delight. Bread served with cheese plate had a great chew, wonderful crust. The goat cheese cheese cake was an interesting change from traditional cheese cake. Enjoyed the light texture and wonderful flavor that the goat cheese gave the cheesecake.

   Driving in our new RV from FL to WI and decided to stop in Effingham for dinner. Planned to go elsewhere but saw the Firefly Grill signs on the highway and gave them a call to make sure it was casual and there wasn’t a dress code (not looking our best after two days on the road!). Omigosh what a find! Food was healthy and delicious and so many options to choose from. Service was great. Next time we’ll plan to stay overnight in Effingham so we can try one of their imaginative cocktails and have plenty of time for dessert. Thank you for welcoming us weary travelers so wonderfully!

   It was disappointing for sure. We dined at lunch on a Sunday. An obnoxious group of 8 women laughed very loud the whole time. I asked the waitress to mention the issue with the women laughing hysterically and that other couples had left because the noise level was so bad. Nothing changed and we ended up leaving which was too bad because the food was good although expensive. It was our first experience and most likely our last. We sat inside next to the window watching the turtles and fish in the pond and it would have been so enjoyable if it wasn't for the obnoxious women 3 tables down. The manager apparently didn't care that they were ruining the experience for rest of us (10 of us).

   Thank you for your review. We hate to hear you didn't enjoy your visit. We have shared this review with our manager on duty to let her know your frustrations and how to deal with a situation like this in the future.. However, if other guests are having a great time, it's hard for us to monitor their noise level other than moving one of the tables to a different area in the restaurant. We will work together with our team to come up with a solution that works. We appreciate your feedback.

    Fried green tomatoes were excellent. Ceasars salad was overdressed! My pizza had a super soggy crust. Salmon was good. Drinks and service were fine. Usually one of my favorite places but the food was lacking this time around.
