   Firecracker suffers from the quadruple whammy of being over priced and soulless whilst proving terrible food and somehow even worse service. 5 of us went for a quick work lunch and were treated with such disdain by the staff, that we will never be going back. The general manager needs a personality transplant.

   What a great experience we had at this restaurant. My daughter and I were visiting London and got tired of eating fish and chips and steak and ale, so we decided to try this place as we love this type of food. Place was not overly crowded, but we did make a reservation, and to our surprise the karaoke booth they had surrounding the restaurant were very sound proof. The only time you heard the music and singing was when someone exited their room. But, it was not bothersome, but a fun atmosphere and was nice to see so many people enjoying themselves with their groups. The best part was the food itself, it was exactly what we were looking for and it was better than expected. Very pleased we chose this place for our dining experience after all the english pubs we had visited.

   Really enjoyed the food and service. All the staff were very helpful. And well done to Tobi he was doing really well. You could tell he was trying which is good

   Duck pancakes are tasty and the prawn is toast is delicious. Highly recommend these . As it is a karaoke bar, expect some hilarious tunes from adjoining rooms but god for a catch-up with friends

   Grumpy waitress, never smiled, not helpful. Food was fairly good. Only two service people who seemed more into each other than helping customers. Wifi didn't work.

   Food was great, a little pricey but expected for location. Waitress ignored us most of the time and struggled to get anything else, unable to make eye contact when walking right past us. Waited 15 mins to try and get bill after we said no to dessert and then had to go to the bar to pay.

   We waited for 10 minutes next to the delivery station to get a table even though it we had already reserved and the restaurant was half empty. We had to ask twice for them to seat us, twice for the menu and twice to pay. We were seated in a rowdy area near the karaoke. The service was abrupt, thoughtless and rude - and they kept forgetting our requests. Will never return.

   Be prepared this is a downstairs restaurant with a very dark entrance and stairwell. Service was slow, then Ok, then slow, then better and that is the way the service went for the night. Food was good not outstanding but hot, edible and freshly prepared. We ate small plates as we went along so we were pleased with our choices and the preparation. Be aware this is a karaoke place, but the rooms for karaoke are outside the dining are and the only real noise you hear from the rooms is when people walk through the doorways. It was fun to see large groups of people using the rooms. Yes, they were consuming alcohol, so lots of noise and laughter and who can deny people from having a good time. Would we come back? Yes without any expectation of spectacular food.

   The food here was delicious, Thai green curry in particular was divine and the dim sum and gyoza were lovely. The service however was not as good - we waited over 20 minutes for our first drink, then had to practically accost waiting staff to get their attention every time we needed them. The service focus is definitely on the Karaoke rooms where presumably more money can be made - which is a shame as the food is fabulous.

    Interesting atmosphere, with firecrackers used as decoration, dimly lit, it felt nice and cosy. Karaoke rooms can get a bit loud at times, but it's fun to watch/hear people enjoying themselves. Had a Ashai beer from Japan which was good, my friend a cocktail, which she liked. Food was very good, had the mixed roast platter ( roast duck and roasted pork belly) with egg fried rice and a char siu bun, my friend had noodles with chicken and different dumplings. I must say that for an asian restaurant the amount of rice received was a disappointing. Amount of meet was ok.
