   I had the New York strip steak, 14 oz and my wife had the baby back ribs. Both met our expectations. Would recommend and we will visit again. The service of the staff met our expectations. Interactions were pleasant.

   I hate to have to write this as I am also in the business. We had quite a few mix ups. The food took a long time. We were celebrating a big birthday as I put in the notes and it felt very underwhelming. No one acknowledging the celebration until we said something. We had a four year old with us so when you are waiting for food that long any toddler will become restless. Finally apps came out and the cheesesteak rolls were cold and about two minutes later dinner came. My salad was wilted brown and inedible. Steak came out under cooked. Manager came by and took off some things from the bill. But In my opinion if this was settled in the restaurant I would not have to write this review. I just feel like this all could have been avoided by communicating that they lost our apps so we aren’t sitting there wondering. Just acknowledge they dropped the ball. We didn’t require much. Just the right food at the right temp and edible.

   Service extremely slow, and poor. It took just over an hour after being seated to get our entrees. Dessert took just as long. 2 1/2 hours for dinner, and the slow up was not from our party of 4. Steak was ordered medium rare, and came out medium well. I usually have a good experience at Firebirds and have dined there at least a dozen times in the past 2 years.

   Our waitress, Cameron was surly and unaccommodating when we asked for coffee and canceled our dessert. She turned a joyous birthday celebration into a sad and disappointing experience. None of us live close to Firebirds. We will not be making the long distance trek here for a long time. It’s a shame because the food was good and the hostess was kind.

   The food was good, but it would have been nice if our soup and salad had been brought out before our entrees. We had to ask for bread for the table. (We thought maybe it wasn't part of the meal anymore, but then noticed that other tables had received theirs.) We have eaten here several times, and it's hit or miss with the service. Which is a bummer because it's a costly meal.

    The food and drinks were wonderful and our server friendly and professional. The kitchen was very slow it was 50 min after checking in early for a 4:30 reservation until we got our meal and we didn’t order any appetizers .
