Finn McCool's is a stunning old world Gastro-pub with a modern sensibility & heavy emphasis on quality food & drinks. Designed with rich wood, antique Gaelic stained glass and gorgeous original art that was dis-assembled, shipped over from Belfast Northern Ireland through the Panama canal and meticulously re-assembled on Main Street in Santa Monica.

Finns boasts over 18 beers on tap, 200 whiskeys and an impressive menu of quality traditional & modern offerings from the newer "Build your own Burger" and "R&D Menu" (where customers get to help choose the next menu items) to classic offerings like "Fish & Chips in a Newspaper", "Guinness Irish Stew" and the iconic "Irish Breakfast".

Been going there for years. Never disappointed. New Year's Eve Irish time (4PM) is the best. Service couldn't be better.

Expected a more authentic Irish experience. 5 o clock Saturday crowd is loud...therefore the music was on blast...no Hozier, Luca Bloom, U2 music selections just loud 90s. Drinks were excellent, Guinness very well poured. Guinness Irish beef stew, not to order again. Tasted like it was a week old, frozen and reheated. Fish and chips quite good, fresh. Go for the drinks, bar is a beauty.

The food was very tasty and good value. However more attention to detail is required both our burgers had fillings missing and had to be queried.

How can opentable suggest a 10:00 am reservation when the restaurant was doesn’t open that early? I noticed the same time was available today at North Italia in Santa Monica. Luckily, I knew they didn’t open until 11:00. Know it concerns both opentable and the selected restaurant when the guest with a reservation doesn’t show. How about when the guest shows after making a reservation on your site and the restaurant isn’t open. You can do better. At least we had a nice walk even though the door to Finn McCool’s was locked.

I had reservation from 1 week ago. When i showed up at the door they said reservations were cancelled. No one contacted us to make such a change. We asked for the manager and the bouncer went back and forth and he never showed up. When i asked for manager they said ok wait. Made us wait for a while and then they said you have to pay a $10 cover each. Very rude and disrespectful! Totally ruined my night and St. Patty's!!!!! Not coming back!
