   The staff were excellent. They were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Food was really tasty. Will definitely be back.

   Our server wasnt exactly welcoming my friend asked her what the draught beers where for her to rudely flip the menu infront of him and say " draught is here" and stand in awkward silence until one was chosen. The food was great however I think the waitress needs more training in costomer service as it felt like we were interfering with her day. Also no Mocktails seemed to be available and when asked the reply was " I'll see if the bar man has time" the Mocktail that arrives was nothing more than cranberry juice with some lime in it to make it pink. Would not return.

   Excellent service and food. We are a rather rowdy bunch in for a Birthday so just hope I am allowed back..

   Even though we had booked they must of took in too much in so had to wait up to 45 minutes for our meal. Was lovely when it arrived though.

   We arrived at our table for 7.55 only to be told we couldn’t have a “child” at the table after 8pm. That child is 12!! Fair enough she was a last minute guest but a 12 year old being told she wasn’t allowed to stay after 8pm. Come on haha! Its Edinburgh.. its 2019! So yes I don’t think I’ll be recommending you as child friendly ;) Also can’t rate anything else as we never actually got seated to begin with. Thanks all the same!

   Dear Steven, I am very sorry that you were told on arrival that we do not allow children into Finn&Bear past 8pm. Unfortunately, by law, all licensed premises in Scotland are not permitted to allow under 14's in past 8pm. With child friendly bars, such as ourselves, accompanied under 14's are permitted between 11am and 8pm. I do hope you return with your 12 year old at some point in the future for brunch or lunch.     Poor service and average overpriced food. Politely asked for replacement of burnt fried chicken. Was obnoxiously told it was crispy and that should pick something else. Very disappointing.
