Figs Wood Fired Bistro crafts inventive contemporary American cuisine with global influence, in its warm and relaxing eatery in Sandy Hook. For starters, small plates, such as the brussel sprouts with balsamic reduction and a drizzle of honey and the old school meatballs with shaved pecorino cheese make excellent appetizers. Some of Figs Wood Fired Bistro's house specialty entrees include the spice crusted pork chops and maple glazed salmon and Madison Avenue Eggplant. You can't leave without the famous original brick oven Fig Pizza with fig puree, gorgonzola, mozzarella topped with fresh arugula salad, walnuts and fig balsamic. You can't go wrong with the popular Southern Comfort Chicken Sandwich served alongside homemade mac n cheese. Desserts are all homemade and vary each week but if you are lucky you will snag a slice of the lemon coconut cake.

    Food was outstanding the cocktails were great the waitress was very friendly and great attitude. It was a great experience. We will come back once again

    This is not our first time at Figs and certainly won’t be our last! The food and service were amazing as always, and it isn’t a night at Figs without a visit from the owner. It’s a small restaurant but not a small feel. I love everything about Figs!

    Unfortunately, the service was very slow and seemed to have forgotten about us. We would have ordered another drink and dessert but she was in the dining area, we were in the bar at a high top.
