   Food was excellent, as were the wine and (non-alcoholic) cocktail pairings. The vegetarian dishes in the tasting menu were very good, and it's obvious that as much thought had gone into the planning of each of the vegetarian dishes as had gone into the meat dishes. I plan to return.

   We had such a delicious dinner at Ficoa, the best way to end a Friday night. We did the "Let us cook for you" tasting menu, and each dish was beautifully presented and explained in detail by Chef Gerry. I love hearing of the inspiration and trying ingredients new and old prepared in ways I haven't had at many other restaurants. The attention to detail and thought put into the whole experience is very clear. For a price of $80 per person, it's well worth it and we were very full. The service was also top notch and the staff were very attentive and provided such a welcoming space. I look forward to returning again!

   We were searching for a fun and interesting tasting menu, and Ficoa did not disappoint! We have experienced many in Toronto, and this is the first one where the chef's love and passion truly shone through. Each dish was presented by chef Gerry himself, or a member of his knowledgeable staff, who explained not only the components of each plate, but why each was meaningful to him. This translates into the atmosphere of the restaurant itself, which is warm, comfortable and inviting. Thank you chef Gerry and team for bringing us into your home.

   Amazing food and I cannot rave about the service enough. The waitress, chef and bartender all went out of their way to make the entire tasting menu an incredible and unforgettable experience. From the second we walked in to the second we left, the entire team made a conscious effort to elevate every part of our experience. If you are fortunate enough to make a reservation, you will not regret it!

   My wife and I discovered a hidden culinary gem in Toronto's Little Italy. Chef Gerry Quintero's innovative tasting menu took us on an unforgettable gastronomic journey. The "Let us cook for you" concept perfectly captured our experience as we savored each meticulously crafted dish. Moving through different spaces during our meal added an element of surprise and excitement. We were impressed by the chef's passion, evident in every plate that told a story of Toronto's diverse flavors. The attentive staff enhanced our evening with their knowledge and personalized service. From the seasonal ingredients to the Mexican-inspired touches, each course was a delightful revelation. Without a doubt, our dinner at Ficoa was one of the best culinary experiences we've had in Toronto, a memory we'll cherish for years to come.
