   We had dinner on a Thursday evening, the restaurant only had a few other patrons present, but it was still pretty loud due to its relatively small scale. We have been here several times in the past and this is one of our local favorites when we come to St. Pete's beach. I had salmon and my wife had Mahi-Mahi - both entrees were very good. The service, as usual, was also very attentive. They mentioned the restaurant is changing locations soon, which is good because it needs updating.

   The food is absolutely superb.The owner makes you feel like you are in his own private dining room. This is one of the best restaurants in St. Petersburg Fl.

   From the time we sat down we were rushed by Bruce, the owner. Several times insisting on taking our dinner order when we informed him we wanted to enjoy our wine & appetizers & did not want to be rushed. At this point, we were the only guests. He became quite irritated. The appetizers were excellent. Then dinner came. The 2 halibut entrees tasted like old frozen fish and was overcooked. When informing Bruce his reply was only "well its halibut". He was NOT happy when we said bring us our check for the appetizers & wine ($200+) and yelled out to everyone FOOLS, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT GOOD FOOD IS. This is definitely NOT a fine dining establishment as they claim. They certainly do not put the customer first. It's their way or no way.

   Had a great meal. Very personal service and unique. My first time here and not surprised it has remained popular for so long. Do yourself a favor and check it out

    As always, the food is outstanding! The crab cakes are a must have. I'm looking forward to returning.
