   Went there at lunch time on a Wednesday. The restaurant is very popular so it was predictably crowded and noisy inside. The tables were set close to one another so it was a pretty tight fit. The food was good - I had the risotto - and the server was very knowledgeable and personable.

   Fete still has my favorite sandwich in the world in the Smoked Ono. The chef is outstanding and knows how to build flavors. The food is always a 5 star for me. Our server, just went through the motions. No excitement for the dishes and specials and cocktails. I actually stopped another server to explain her favorite dessert to me. As someone who has worked in and managed restaurants, a place like this needs more than just the server that copies the specials down or says them the same way to every table. I could have sold out of those specials last night!

   6 weeks in Hawaii between Hawaii and Oahu and this was the best meal we had by far. The Beet Salad tasted liked it was picked on a summer afternoon, just before dinner. The 3 Spreads were amazing, with a special nod to the Macadamia Tapenade. The Smoked Ono Club was simply outstanding. Service was great, from end to end. Most highly recommended. Only caveat: No Washington wines on the extensive winelist.

   Fresh ingredients - absolutely delicious!! :) Love the 3 meat lasagna with fresh pasta! The beat salad with the ono fish salad added is a must - she be a staple on the menu vs. a special.

   Sat on the high top next to the kitchen and seen the whole operation in action. Food is delicious and worth the hype. Service was amazing and attentive. Definitely a must go spot.

   I booked here because of the reviews and recommendation from Open Table. It did not disappoint! Everything was above and beyond our expectations. The best food on our trip, and we were eating good! It's downtown, and we sat outside to get "dinner and a show" 😆 We will be back, and we will try inside next time.

    Our waitress, Shelly, was wonderful! She was attentive, friendly, our orders were correct even with the changes we requested, and she was clearly paying attention as we finished each part of our lunch because she would immediately appear for us to order our lunch, then to order dessert just as we finished our lunch, and with the check. That being said, the food was truly awful. I ate here last spring and had this incredibly good steak caesar salad that I've been thinking about ever since. I went back today and ordered the same salad and it was awful. There was too much dressing so everything was a soggy mess and the steak was so salty it was inedible. For a $45 lunch, it was awful. I know the Chef/Owner has one a James Beard award, so I'm hoping this was just a one-off and someone just went too far with the dressing and salt this time, but I'm not sure I'll be back either. So disappointing.
