   We recently visited Festival Cafe for brunch, drawn in by its promise of a farm-to-table experience and its partnerships with well-regarded local farms, including Stone Barns, with which we are quite familiar. While the concept is admirable and the space — particularly near the bar — is stylish and full of potential, the execution unfortunately did not live up to expectations. Service was the primary issue. Our server forgot about our table multiple times, resulting in significant delays and cold dishes upon arrival. We had opted for the bottomless brunch, but were only offered a few mimosas throughout the entire meal, as our server seemed to forget that we had ordered it. There were long stretches where our glasses were empty, and we struggled to get attention. It’s disappointing, especially because the restaurant’s ethos and ambiance suggest a much higher standard. With more attentive service and better attention to detail, Festival Cafe could become a standout spot. As it stands, though, our experience was underwhelming.

   Everything was perfect! Drinks were creative and well executed, food was fantastic, service was spot on, and digs were very aesthetic. Definitely worth doing and will go again!

   We dined here last week and had an absolutely fantastic time. The Staff made everything so fun and accommodated all of my wife’s eating preferences which is tough because she’s vegan and gluten-free and also doesn’t like a lot of things. They were so warm and welcoming and I couldn’t tell you how cool the vibe is plus the cocktails here are incredible like this is such a true jam in the neighborhood. Fantastic.

   We had just the most amazing time from the service to the food to the drinks. Everything was fantastic. Let me tell you that burger is positively the best thing on the upper side. We also have the french fries shrimp cocktail and oysters. My wife and I both got about six martinis so you know we were having a good time. Highly recommend.

   The absolute best experience. What a gem of a place for our neighborhood. I went on a Thursday night and they had this incredible live jazz band. I had the salmon which was exquisite and every cocktail was exceptional!
