really slow table service, waited 20 mins for my drinks, ordered when the meal was placed, chicken was over cooked, Soup and dessert was good.

After reading reviews we really looked forward to sunday carvery, I enjoyed the carvery , i had the ham and turkey, my wife didnt, the roast beef was dry, the roast potatoes were soft and not crispy, my sons main from the menu, the chicken was dry... the service was a shocker though, hardly anyone in and still we were waiting for an age to get any service. disapointed to be honest.

There were four in our party and we all gad the carvery as it looked so fresh and well presented, we were not disappointed. The service was good and the staff very pleasant, we were not rushed and all enjoyed the meal and the ambience.

Always enjoy a wee tea at the Fenwick. Servers are lovely and don’t fuss over you. Good menu choice. Macaroni, Seafood gratin and buttery curry was had this time round! All lovely. Thanks

Starters were good, Cullen slink had nice chunks of fish and the portion size was just right. Tatties scone nachos also tasty. Starters served before our drinks order arrived and I had to remind our servers that the drinks had not arrived. We also asked for water for the table which we did not receive and we decided not to bother asking for it. Macaroni cheese was tasty, served with garlic bread and fries. Mixed grill- not asked how we wanted the steak cooked and no steak knife brought. The chicken was very dry and next time we will definitely order a gravy for it, but it is served on a white flat tile. It came with fries too. My son had roast chicken and gravy which he found very tasty. The fries could be better as they are clearly not homemade. I had ice cream for dessert and it was fine. For the price the meal was good but a few tweaks would elevate it.
