   The food was very good The service was professional but not very personable The location was not as expected- it appears they have taken over an existing restaurant in the lower level of a hotel. It looks as if the decor stayed the same from prior restaurant. Having eaten at their other restaurant this wasn’t the same experience

   This is a hidden gem. From the street it looks like a coffee shop, but a large handsome dining room is down one fight. The food was delicious, servers were very gracious and attentive and the room is a quiet haven— somewhat formal but lovely lighting and comfortable spacing.

   Very good food but the music is too loud. Interferes with table conversation. Good service and atmosphere and space between tables. Just turned down the music!

   I came across this place while searching "best Italian restaurants in Manhattan" and they were spot on! The service, from the expeditor to the wait staff, was very attentive, and accommodating. Always made sure we had everything we needed, and if we did need anything, they were quick to get it. Our server, Andres M. was fantastic. Very knowledgeable of the menu, and made great recommendations based on what we were in the mood for. The ambience of Felice 56 is very elegant, low-light, and warm. Definitely a great location for a date night, or any other special occasion. The upper level is a cafe/bar that overlooks the main restaurant on the lower level. The main restaurant is fairly small compared to other big name restaurants in the city, consisting of about 40-50 tables and booths. The table seating along the wall is very tight, causing you to feel on top of the people next to you. This put us in a position to ask for a new table, which they were gracious enough to accommodate us with. The food was very good. I had the carbonara which was delicious, but the portions were a bit small. It would be good if the portion sizes matched the prices they charged. $25.00 for a small bowl of pasta. Overall, our experience was great. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, and look forward to coming back soon.

   Only for a special occasion, like Valentine's Day. Food was very good but overpriced.

   The space itself is gorgeous...it sets the stage for the entire fantastic experience. The service is second to none. All the servers, waiters, and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Then there's the food...we each enjoyed our meals, from the bread basket, minestrone soup, to main dishes. The carbonara is the best in the city. I can't wait to return.

    Lovely setting, wonderful waiter, attentive personnel. Food was delicious, however, portions quite small. Best tiramisu ever!
