We tried out Favorite Indian Restaurant - Hayward last week and this restaurant is over-rated. Most of the food we ordered were over-salted and some of them we could not eat because it was way too salty. We order the chicken/rice and there were hardly any chicken in it. Mostly all of it were rice. Very disappointed. I would not recommend this restaurant.

My family and I enjoyed a nice buffet lunch at this restaurant. The servers were nice and attentive. price was right and had a very good selection.

We love this place but Saturday night they were way too overwhelmed by the greedy customers. It's hard to keep a buffet filled when people empty an entire food tray on their plate. (This happened twice that I saw - I'm sure it happened more.). We will be back but not on a Saturday. The staff is usually great but there were just too many people that night.

Although the food was good, the very young waiter was so inexperienced and was really getting on our nerves. He came by constantly asking how things were. There was no room on our table for everything. He could have moved another table over, but instead, we didn't use our plates, but our silver sauce trays instead. The food was delicious and plentiful and it wasn't crowded and noisy.

This place is such an incredible bargain for lunch! 20 hot items plus soup, salad, dessert, and tea/beverage for $9.99! Man!
