   I went to late dinner with a friend. We had both been to Fatty Crab before and remembered having good experiences. At the door, we noticed they now have a "B" sanitation grade, but thought to try anyway. We came into the restaurant and were immediately told that they were "out of a lot of things" because they "weren't supposed to be open" that night. We decided we were okay with that and ordered drinks and dinner. While we ate, we one of about 3 tables seated inside, with one group sitting outside. The restaurant suddenly started playing music very out and had a boisterous group at the bar. Our waiter came back several times asking if we wanted more drinks, though we responded "no" every time. It felt as though we were being rushed to leave. I think perhaps we should have just left and perhaps they should've closed as originally planned. Our food was good and I enjoyed my cocktail, but the service left a very bad taste in my mouth.

   Interesting and innovative cuisine.....nice place to hang out and love the flavors that are asian but very special.

   Poor service, Overpriced and average food. Slow food delivery and patronized by waiter.

   Love our waiter. The staff is so fabulous and easy going. We love Fatty Crab.

   Absolutely delicious. We had the steamed pork and veggie buns, soft shell crab with the chili sauce, Brussel sprouts and coconut rice. Everything was divine!! I went back again the very next day with another friend. Lol. Our waiter was also excellent and provides great suggestions.

   I don't get to travel to New York that often but when I do I always try to make time to visit. If you want a relaxed evening with great food with your friends then this is the place to go. Unless you have a strong preference for what you eat, let your host make some recommendations for you after guiding them on your taste preferences. Everything is to share to order a few different dishes and just tuck in. Yes, it would be nice if the outside tables weren't so close to the road but you'll be too busy chatting and eating to really bother you. Great service. Would highly recommend.

   Unusual Asian food but small neighborhood restaurant. Shared dishes that come when hot so too much came at once.

    Overrated. Food was ok but fatty (not fatty in a good way like pirogie belly, just fatty) and way more spicy than o like (I like spicy!). But it was ok.
