   Love Fado. Sucks that it is closing after St. Patrick's Day. Really disappointed to find that out. Very very sad. My Austin is slowly disappearing.

   Best Irish Pub we have been to in Texas!! Not only is the decor straight from the old country, the food, service, and hospitality are as well. We always dine here when attending events near downtown, but also go for date nights. Weekends will often feature live music, which just enhances the experience. A must for anyone wanting to be Irish! Salante!!

   This is a great location for watching sports with your friends. Lots of excitement and tons of tvs. The thing i love most about it is the fact that it’s a sports bar yet cozy. Those two things are difficult to find at the same time. We love it here!

   We had to cancel our trip to Ireland at the last minute, and while NOT in Ireland, Fado served as an awesome substitute for amazing food and Guinness!

   Excellent place to reboot and enjoy some drinks with ac meal. Guinness girls showed up and gave away free drinks which always makes the night better and the meal.

   This restaurant is definitely a pub and should not be on OpenTable as taking reservations as no one working there has any knowledge of a host/hostess stand much less a reservation or reserved table. If there was a wait we could have had an issue because we had a show time after our 'reserved' dinner time. And service was blasé enough to make it tight even though we sat immediately. Thankfully the food was very good and drinks were fun.

   Cleaned our own tables, made reservations a week in advance and they were not prepared. I don't honestly know why they use open table. Our waitress had to be asked 3 times for most things. All in all I should rate it worse but the person we went there for loves it and the Guinness (not cheap) was good!
