Exotic spice blends, enticing sauces, "we't" and a highly nutritious flatbread, "injera", are the basis for Ethiopia's unique and delicious cuisine. In traditional settings, diners prepare for a meal by first washing their hands. They then sit around a large plate sent on "mesob", a colorfully woven basket table. Each dish is spooned onto injera which covers the bottom of the large plate. A separate plate of injera is served, as well. Injera is torn into pieces and then used to pickup morsels of food. A piece of injera is placed between the fingers, clasped together and used to pick up food and place it into one's mouth or a guest's.

Delicious food - super filling. The waitress was clearly understaffed so that made things take a bit longer - but she was super friendly and everything was lovely otherwise. Highly recommend. Also they have a $7.99 lunch buffet that's really yummy and a great value.

Get ready to get messy as you eat with your hands. Wish they weren't quite so stingy with napkins (we asked for more twice without getting any) . The food was tasty and satisfying. We had ours family style, which meant everything was piled onto a platter of Ethiopian bread in front of us. It was a fun experience.

We used our a Groupon on a Sunday evening. Not crowded at all. Good choice of meat options. We had the combo platter - chicken , lamb and beef. Very good flavors and all different. The samosa appetizer was a little spicy but very tasty. The service was not great but our waitress had such a lovely smile we were willing to forgive her. Our Groupon included dessert and we had the chocolate mousse (cake). We will definitely go back even without the Groupon.

This is a great place to try something different. There are no utensils --food is scooped up with soft "bread" and fingers. It is a small, quiet place with only a few choices for wine. Nice staff but very relaxed service style.

THE CULTURAL DECOR WAS NICE, THE RESTAURANT WAS COLD WHEN WE FIRST ENTERED. THE HONEY WINE WAS IMPRESSIVE, BUT THE MEAT IN THE DISH WE ORDERED WAS DRY AND DIFFICULT TO CHEW. IF I WERE TO EVER GO BACK IT WOULD BE ONLY FOR THE WINE.
