   The food and service were both excellent, only criticism was the level of noise paticularly the constant noise of a blender in n the bar area

   Easter Sunday so meal slow to arrive, food was good Etch downtown better. Everything trade off Franklin easier to get to not traffic hassle.

   We unfortunately sat almost an hour without our server checking in on us. We had no idea where our food was and we weren’t offered any drinks, even though our cocktail glasses were empty. Other servers refilled our water, but when we asked them to check on our food, they never came back to check in with us/update us. When the food finally arrived, one of the dishes was cold. This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in years.

   Visited the restaurant for Easter brunch and had to wait close to a hour for our food.

   I can't believe that I am writing a negative review about Etch (Franklin). We live in Green Hills and absolutely love Etc. and frequent it often. So much so that we have a rewards card! I was thrilled to learn that Etch was coming to Franklin. Easier to go there then downtown. When they opened last fall, I took my mother who was visiting for Thanksgiving. We had a lovely lunch. So, when I was choosing a place for Easter, I decided upon Etch. They also advertised both a brunch and lunch menu. Unfortunately, I think that was too much for them. It seemed chaotic in there yesterday. I decided upon the shrimp/scallops and grits even though it seemed pricey at $46. Well, 6 shrimp and 1 scallop later, I told our server that I was disappointed that it only had one scallop. She agreed and walked away. When a manager picked up my credit card, I told him the same thing. He did discount the dish by 20% ($9.20). I did eat it but still am very disappointed with the experience. The manager also said that this was their first Easter. I get it, but they need to do something different next time.

   There was a woman in the kitchen yelling orders at the Cook staff. It was very distracting. It was rude. She had a headband around her head. Maybe that can help figure out who this is, but everyone seemed bothered by her behavior and if you’re going to have a kitchen where everyone can see what’s going on Then you shouldn’t be acting in that manner. Or our server was great. The food was very good, but the likelihood of going back because of this one woman controlling the kitchen is very slim.

   The downtown location is a different level of food than the Franklin location. I was extremely saddened as I don’t take my kids to places like this all the time and the food was not good at all and we waited for an over an hour after we ordered. Very disappointed. :(

    Clean, efficient, tasteful, relaxed, excellent food, good service, As close to an intimate Manhatten bistro as you are going to find in Williamson County. Or anywhere else in Tennessee. I looked around at the other customers during out meal--it was all smiles. This is not an inexpensive meal, but worth every penny
