One of the most celebrated restaurants in the United States, Estela is an intimate downtown bistro from chef Ignacio Mattos that can be experienced in many ways, whether it’s a thrilling dinner in the dining room, a leisurely weekend brunch with friends, or a late-night drink at the bustling bar. Since opening in 2013, the restaurant has served several signature dishes that are now considered New York City classics, while always offering guests something new to try.

Gather around the chef’s counter at estela, while our kitchen team demonstrates how to make ricotta dumplings with mushrooms and pecorino sardo. After a hands-on cooking demonstration guests will enjoy a four-course meal at a communal table including white or red wine options. This class is limited to twelve people.

    The entire experience was stunning. Perfect, relaxed but very nice atmosphere. The food was wonderful from start to finish. Olive, our server was definitely a highlight for both of us. She personally wrote out a very inclusive gluten free menu for my girlfriend and guided her through everything, and was just everything you could hope for in a server. We look forward to returning soon, and would wholeheartedly recommend Estela to friends.
