Erik The Red is a Nordic inspired bar and restaurant which features smoked meats and BBQ. We also focus on craft beer, whiskeys and scotch. We feature large, bone in cuts of meat like turkey legs, lamb shanks and brisket. We have partnered with Crazy Mountain Brewery based out of Colorado and Black Craft Cult clothing to serve you some of the finest in Midwest craft beer and the baddest in Midwest fashion. We feature over 30 tap beers from local and domestics to international. Additionally, we offer Bloody Mary bottle service during weekend brunch. So come and enjoy some amazing food and some fantastic libations while you bob your head (or head bang) to energetically charged Viking-esque metal in a laid back atmosphere with a rustic ambiance. ..Skål!

Great food, slow service. It was very quiet and barely any clients, we didn’t understand why we could not find our server half the time.

We enjoyed another great experience viewing the Vikings away game in a fun atmosphere with outstanding food and service. Our waitstaff Lauren has served us before and immediately greeted us remembering our beverage choices from our previous visit! No that was impressive and welcoming. We brought friends who hadn't been before with young children, and they really had a great time, too. Please keep up the Vikings viewing gatherings with Sir Skolt for away games. We have season tickets to the home games and really enjoy the atmosphere at Erik the Red for viewing the away games with fellow fans.

We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at Erik the Red’s last night. Their hospitality and service was AMAZING! They were sooooooo generous and compt us an amazing amount. Also, if you haven’t tried their cheese curds with lingonberry sauce...go immediately! I’m from Wisconsin where we take our cheese curds seriously...these are some of the best I ever had!!! Also their cream onion gravy on the Swedish meatballs was amazing!

We've dined here a handful of times. The quality of the food has seemed to decrease over time. Additionally this time we noticed a note at the bottom of the menu stating "a 3% wellness charge" will be added to all checks... Seriously? Quite the turn off...

I have been to Erik the Red 2x now. The food and the atmosphere are great however the waitstaff absolutely suck. Our first time there our waitress forgot to put in our order and we waited for over two hours for our entire dining experience. When we finally noticed that people would come in after us for getting the food before us, we flagged her over she said she acted like she had never seen us before. We had asked where our food was, she asked if we ordered and we said yes then asked who our waitress was and we said her! She quickly went through her notebook and seen that we had placed our order quite a while back. She promptly put our food in and we received it fairly quickly but that was ridiculous. You should also let your waitstaff know that when salads and appetizers are ordered they should come out before the meal.
