Helmed by ES Hospitality Bar Director Jackson Cannon and Bar Principal Eliza Hoar, Equal Measure is a contemporary bar that features highly innovative cocktails with an emphasis on seasonality and sustainability. Just down the hall from legendary neighborhood brasserie Eastern Standard, EM's highly curated back bar is stocked with world-class spirits, both rare and hand-selected.

Though the culinary-inspired cocktails feature unconventional ingredients, the balance and flavors that come through are designed to be as satisfying as any classic. Whether it’s your first visit or you’re a long-time caller, you’ll be welcomed as a friend into the bar’s warmth.     The EM Espresso Martini wasn’t that good, some other drinks were better. There’s a table in the center of the cocktail bar with a white table cloth which is really out of place and looks funny tbh.

    Great cocktail lounge in BB. Intimate and comfortable vibe, not too loud and great bites. And delicious and inventive cocktails that are nicely balanced and not overly sweet. Def going back!!!

    The drinks were creative and well presented, bartender was knowledgeable and friendly. We ordered the meat and cheese board which was delicious and well thought out and in my opinion was enough for 4 people.

    Liza (hope I spelled right) is a great host. Each time I come back she gives a good background on drink and my friends and I are cozy and set up well. Slowly becoming my favorite spot.

    Everything was excellent but I would suggest dimming the lights earlier. We sat in the space right before the bar and it was too bright around 730p. The lights were eventually dimmed and it made the place more inviting. Also instead of chairs, i think more bench seating like you already have near the bar would enhance the experience and allow for more flexibility for seating different numbers of groups

    Met a friend with my daughter to enjoy cocktails and small bites. We made a reservation although the “host”seemed to be unaware and not expecting us. Not a lot of space here. Food was ok, and would recommend drinks although can be pricey. Our server was delightful and prompt.
