Our lavish speakeasy-style lounge features craft cocktails, an extensive selection of bottled craft microbrews, and delicious American cuisine small plates is reminiscent of early Hollywood glitz and glamour in true Great Gatsby style. Get comfortable and ready to mingle in the 4,000 square foot lounge was designed for socializing. Every evening, local Dj’s spin twenties tunes to house, Hip Hop, top 40, jazz, and dance music. While there is not a designated dance floor, dancing is allowed and encouraged, and on most evenings Envy guests can be seen dancing all around the Lounge. Tuesday evenings feature “Jazz Night” directed by jazz musician Jonathan Rowden. Some of Southern California’s best jazz musicians, including Will Brahm’s Homenajé, The Saddleback Big Band, The Connie Han Trio, and many others, play live from 9pm to midnight. Wednesday evening features “Wine Wednesday Mic Night,” in which an eclectic group of singers perform with house band The Reel Band and all wine bottles are half off all night. Sunday afternoon from 1pm to 3pm Envy Lounge hosts “Newport Sundaze” parties in the outdoor patio.

Although I made a reservation on open table. The lounge called me back and said open table reservations are not valid. They said they have a loose relationship with open table. They proceeded to tel me I would have to pay $500 to secure the same table I already reserved with open table. Horrible business practice. Very disappointed.

I booked the table specifically said I didn’t want bottle service. I was assured that they would not save us a table in the vip lounge so we don’t have to do bottle service. When we get there, they forced my friends to get a bottle of grey goose for $360!! I mean the thing I hate is them being sneaky about it. Never coming back!

We made a reservation online for two on a saturday night at 9pm. When we showed up... they advised us there was no reservation for a table of 2 under my last name. I showed them the online confirmation showing I did in fact have a reservation, they then stated they do not offer a table for a party of two, the "bouncer" was very rude. But, we decided to stay anyways and sit at the bar, however it was very raunchy and smelled funny inside. Their was no Dj and no music playing. We decided not to stay and walked out immediately. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE..... HORRIBLE Customer Service!

We had a reservation for a table at 5:30 PM on a Friday and when we showed up, they weren't open. We checked their hours online and called them and their voicemail said that they open at 5. We went next door and they told us that Envy tends to be sketchy with their hours, so we got dinner there instead. Around 7 we looked in again and they were open this time, so we ordered drinks and got a table because the place was practically empty. I'd be giving this place a lot better rating because the venue and drinks were fantastic, but the fact that they weren't open for our reservation is definitely a big deterrent.

I made a reservation for 2, however when I got to the lounge the place was empty, only 1 bar tender was at the bar telling me that they had no reservation for that night since a private party was to take place that evening at a later time. I don't blame Envy, I blame you open table since you led me to believe that a reservation was reserved for me and my girl. Thanks for nothing.

This is a great venue. I do miss the live jazz music 🎶 on Tuesdays.

FYI they said they no longer take Open Table reservations. They apologized for the mixup and bought me a champagne. Very nice!
