   Just went in for brunch. Everything was great for the most part. The potatoes are the only thing that tasted a little off. But it was fine.

   Thoughtful menu with solid small plates and generous mains. Delicious heirloom tomato salad. Excellent risotto with asparagus and very good scallops . Issues with summer heat (no ac) and openness to street make it a bit close for July . Also live music ,although pleasant, makes the place pretty loud to converse

   The food here is really awful. Stale, cheap bread with the appetizers. Salmon tartare was lukewarm. It’s the same beautiful space that was Prospect, but nothing good is coming out of this kitchen.

   Overall, the dining experience was "priceless!" Unfortunately, the noise din was a bit much for an oldster like me; but fortunately, the Endswell cuisine dispelled ANY dissatisfaction I may have had. I can authoritatively state: "......it was the best Father's Day meal I've had in many, many years." And, let me not forget to acknowledge the Endswell ambiance, and its friendly, efficient, attentive, and welcoming wait staff (ten-stars for service)!! Isaac

   My kids were at the Barclay Center for a concert and wanted to find a nice place for me and my wife to enjoy while waiting. Endswell is in a cute neighborhood in walking distance to Barclays in a lively fun area. The food was outstanding and I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were for New York. It was fairly loud with a lot of conversation in a relatively small restaurant but it fit the vibe of the neighborhood on a Friday night. The owner spoke to us personally and the waitresses - even one not assigned to our table - were gracious, friendly and expert.

   I had a fantastic experience at Endswell and can't recommend it highly enough. The atmosphere was inviting and modern, the drink menu was amazing and the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing.

   Lovely new restaurant in Ft. Greene. Great location, peaceful setting, and really nice food. Can't wait to try them for brunch!
