   Great meal we had the Chicken Parmigiana and Sunday Gravy. Both were excellent. The server was great and friendly. 10/10

   A Night at Encore: Worth the Noise (and the Wheelbarrow) Took my wife to Encore — first time for both of us. Quick summary? Drinks and food were top-notch. Ambiance? Picture dining in a high-end fishbowl — all glass and all noise. My Apple Watch actually warned me I might suffer temporary hearing loss from the decibel level. (Thanks, Apple. I came for dinner, not a health advisory.) Still, we’ll definitely go back — the food, drinks, and service more than made up for the acoustics. The night kicked off with a Gin Elderflower Basil Smash. I had no idea what I was getting into, but I’m glad I did. It was refreshing, unique, and tasted like summer in a glass. Then came the bread with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic. Warm, fresh, dangerously addictive. I wanted more. It was offered, but I declined. (Personal growth moment for me.) Up next: the Italian wedge salad. Forget your average wedge — this one had layers. Layers of flavor, a perfectly balanced dressing, and crunch in all the right places. Check the pictures on their website — it’s as good as it looks. For the main course, I went all in: Shrimp and Lobster Fra Diavolo. Spicy, rich sauce poured over blonde and black pasta, generously loaded with seafood. I scraped the plate clean. If they’d brought me more bread, I would’ve mopped that bowl so well they could’ve reused it — no rinse needed. Paired it with a glass of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, and it was a match made in Italian heaven. Dessert? Lemon Tart Brûlée and Coffee. Bright, citrusy, and just the right amount of sweet to wrap up the meal. The tartness reset my tastebuds, which, at that point, were ready to file a workers’ comp claim. Our server, Samantha, was excellent — attentive, friendly, and nailed the VIP treatment I jokingly requested. In fact, by the end, I needed a wheelbarrow just to get out of there. She didn’t hesitate — she plopped me in, gave me a push, and off I went, full of joy and pasta. We’ll be back!

   Absolutely love this place. Every time I go the consistency of everything is spot on. And we ended up chatting long after our meal was done, and nobody was in any rush to get us out of there as well. Highly recommended!

   We recently had the pleasure of dining at Encore Ristorante in Raleigh, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The service was warm and friendly, setting a wonderful tone for the evening. The food was outstanding. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the Lasagna Bolognese, which was rich and flavorful. I opted for the Chicken Marsala, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. We also shared the Shrimp Bruschetta, which was incredibly delicious and packed with flavor. Overall, Encore Ristorante exceeded our expectations with its top-notch cuisine and exceptional service. We highly recommend it for anyone seeking a memorable Italian dining experience in Raleigh.

   There truly are no outstanding restaurant offerings where we live in North Raleigh, and encore has turned out to be a very nice, reliable neighborhood style restaurant. The food is good and thoughtful, the service staff is well trained and engaging, the bar seems to get lively and fun, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is commendable. While a bit on the pricier side, the quality of the food is there and we decided that we are going to frequent more often, as It delivers a much better experience overall than any of the other offerings in our immediate geographic area.

    What a fabulous little restaurant! Service was excellent from everyone. Our server Peyton was outstanding from start to finish. The food was delicious! We all tried something different and each meal was perfects. Excellent assortment of gelatos and delicious espresso chocolate cheesecake. We will be back!
