   Pizza was really good, they could have put less tomato paste on top though. Or I could have ordered it with less, lesson learned. But overall was really good.

   Our appetizers were really good — Brussels & Butternut squash and Brussels salad, Zia fries, and one more I don’t remember. Our Hawaiian pizza was very good, but the other two were just so loaded with toppings and cheese and overwhelming/too strong of flavors — that was the Paulie and Miranda. Our server was friendly, and service was good. We just might ask for lighter cheese/toppings if we return.

   The pizza was good but the service was horrible. Our server decided to interview an applicant outside and could not get any service. No one could pour me a draft beer because our server was the bartender. I actually got up went outside and asked her if she could get me another beer. She did but no apologies. She asked if we wanted anything else and my wife wanted the apple pie to go. The server went back outside and continued the interview. Another 15 minutes go by, I get up go outside and asked our server for the apple pie and our check. She did come inside and did that. I had my credit card out ready to pay before she went back outside. I paid and she was lucky I left a 10% tip. I'm affiliated with restaurants in Birmingham and WE NEVER interview people for jobs when our restaurants are open and we have guests that need to be taken care of. You are lucky I gave you a 1 star. I would have given you ZERO stars. Very disappointing and won't be back.

   It was my first time dining at Emmy. Our seven Lauren was amazing. The pizza was great! Chicken crunchers were dry..didn’t like those as much. Overall experience was 9/10 !

   Food is delicious. Was surprised to find that soda refills are not included. They serve complimentary water in a pretty bottle which I will exclusively drink if I return. Pricey but atmosphere was good. Restaurant has a New York City vibe which is nice.
