   We had late reservations for Easter brunch/lunch and the food was cold and limited. It was clear by the time we arrived they were no longer refilling anything. No ice cream remaining for Apple dessert. Potatoes undercooked. Macaroni and cheese was dry and sticky like it has been out too long. They were clearing the buffet off 30 minutes after our reservation started.

   It was wonderful in every way. We had our Easter lunch which was a grand buffet with every type food you can imagine. From salads, to shrimp cocktail, to full breakfast choices, to carving stations (and the portion sizes were the most generous I’ve experienced), to veggies, and all types of breads, and a big dessert table. The service was friendly and although it was a busy time, the people-flow was great and the noise level was low.

   For $65 per person I would expect a grander buffet. We had 9:45 reservations, were seated and told buffet doesn’t open until 10. Why was I able to make a 9:45 reservation?

   In reading other reviews, didn’t have great expectations for the food, but was expecting good service. Our experience was completely the opposite. Well we thought the food was really good, the service was horrible. We were all hungry when we arrived so we ordered the bread basket for an appetizer thinking it would come out quickly. I’m not sure if our server forgot to put the order in, but after an hour with it not showing up, having already ordered entrées, we asked about it, and she said the kitchen was backed up and it would be out soon. While there were several other tables, they certainly weren’t all full, so I’m not sure why the kitchen would have been so backed up. We canceled the bread and our entrées came out about an hour and 15 minutes after we ordered them. That wouldn’t have been as big of an issue if we were at least getting drink service. We sat with empty waters and empty cocktails because our server never came around to ask if we would like another one. She didn’t seem very knowledgeable about the menu so maybe she was new and will get better with time. I hope so.

   We had a wonderful evening celebrating our 45th anniversary with our son and his family. I was especially impressed with the vegan entrées which Chef specially prepared for the vegans in our group. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and we look forward to returning again soon. Your accommodations for our dietary preferences were greatly appreciated! Our compliments to Chef and to our server, Christian. 💜

   Brunch. Service started out well but she got very busy with tables all sat at once so we were left unattended for more drink orders and trying to pay check. I expected more from menu descriptions. For brunch prices, pancakes for example came with no bacon or side. Plating on Benedicts was simple on huge plate and there was little sauce.

   The short ribs were burned as well as bread served with them. The gnocchi that came with the stuffed chicken was inedible. The bread on the breads and spreads appetizer was not good. The dessert special which was an unbaked cheesecake was inedible. I love this place but the food was super disappointing this time.
