Love this place! We have to lot of vegetarian friends, so we always wish they had a better assortment of veggie sushi (tempura sweet potato or squash or asparagus with avocado, yummy sauce, etc hint, hint 😉) but overall we enjoy the ambiance, service and fantastic cocktails.

My wife and I are so happy to finally have good sushi in Nosara. We have been to Nosara almost weekly since Elixer started serving sushi back in December by a sushi chef from NYC. Elixer started as just a mixology establishment where the quaint interior has a "speakeasy-like" motif, bit with the addition of good sushi, which is hugely popular. we hope the success will result in a larger venue someday🙏.

We had an outside table that they set up on a very busy corner with full view of the dirt road. We could barely hear each other from all the cars and quads flying by. That would have been okay if the food was good. It was the worst sushi we have ever had. The fish was obviously not fresh and the rolls had no flavor. There was one server for the entire place inside and out. $100 for two people and we only ordered one alcoholic beverage and 3 other items. No pura vida here, more like pura rip off. Total bummer for our favorite town.
