   We enjoyed lovely food on a quiet Wednesday evening. The service was friendly and helpful.

   Expected pretty average food from the fairly generic menu (pizza, pasta, burger, club sandwich, etc) but actually both my food and my colleagues were much better than expected. Not worth travelling to but a solid option if you need lunch in Paddington Central.

   The waitress never once asked how the food was. I phoned the day before to change the reservation time - the call took 7 minutes and even though I asked for an email confirmation I did not receive one.

   Not a good dinner - * Food was pretty bad (had the carbonara - overcooked and no dressing) * Ambiance is very poor (middle of the hotel hall, not separated) Don't really understand how it got early good reviews in all fairness

   Was quite happy with the place. Just had some difficulty finding the hotel from Paddington Station

   The menu, cooking, service and pricing are all surprisingly good for what is, after all, a chain hotel restaurant. It is really rather difficult to find any fault with Elements when rated against what it sets out to be; the atmosphere is a little lacking (as it is with many catering establishments) and the puddings could do with some minor improvements. Overall: we would happily return and probably will.

   Elements is hard to find and when found was empty apart from our table.The staff were delightful and helpful, food very good, ambience somewhat lacking as there is a building site in view from the windows.It will be very good when the locality is finished.

   For a hotel restaurant Elements is very good. The area is like a set from a film but the food and service were very good even if the atmosphere and area is not

    Elements Restaurant is in the Novotel Paddington hotel which is in the regenerated area behind Paddington station. The hotel is a bit tricky to find as the whole area is not yet on any maps but Novotel Paddington has a good website with detailed directions on how to get there. The food was delicious and the service was attentive yet unobtrusive. If you work near Paddington or need to catch a train, this is an ideal place to meet, relax, have dinner or drinks away from all the hustle and bussle.
