   This restaurants target audience possibly may not be the Indian community who understands how these dishes should taste! Despite understanding that, I still feel the management, and chef should give more credit to the palette of non Indian community who might be frequenting this place! Having traveled the world, I understand international cuisines and could tell when they don’t taste great at a restaurant back home. The naan was chewy and tasted nothing like it was supposed to and so were the curries. The curry queso and spinach pakora were definitely decent! Drinks were not bad! The staff were super friendly and ambience was eclectic! Might not visit again as the food was sub par!

   We were seated to our table late, and at the end of our meal were told I couldn’t finish a glass of wine I ordered (that took 15 minutes to get) because they needed the table. So rude, I will not be going back. The food was fine.

   The bar drinks were very good, but they took forever to arrive (after all the appetizers had been served, even though we ordered the drinks first), and when I ordered what a friend had previously had for my 2nd round, it was disappointingly different. Food service and server were great. The food was meh--too salty with not enough spice or sauce (especially for something called a "gravy").

   We went to Electric Gravy the second week after opening. While they were definitely working through a few service kinks (not helped by a couple very large tables coming in at the same time) the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was tasty and the drinks were delicious. The music inside was quite loud so this may not be the best spot if you have anyone in your party with a hearing impairment try to sit on the patio, weather allowing. We’re looking forward to coming back soon!

   The restaurant was featured on Eater so I thought I would give it a try. It was fairly busy so I am sure a lot of other people thought the same. I am not sure what restaurant used to Electric Gravy's space prior, but you could tell that Electric Gravy kind of only went half way with the decor. The bar aesthetic doesn't really match the rest of the restaurant, it looks half done. I thought that our server was really good and attentive. From a food and drink perspective, I ordered a couple draughts and thought that they could have been served colder. We ordered the Curry Queso and thought it was really good. For mains, we ordered the Chicken Tikki Masala & Pork Vindaloo which are both served with rice. Naan isn't served with the mains and has to be ordered on the side. Honestly, I really thought that the food was average. It's not the best Indian Food I've had, the restaurant is new, maybe they're still dialing in the flavor profiles. There isn't a lot of Indian food in Austin. It was nice to try something new/different and change it up. It's good not great .. Thought it left a little to be desired.

    Great food and good prices (rare find in Austin). Need a non alcoholic lassi, tho.
