Located at 115 Ryrie Street in Geelong, El Santo brings an authentic and modern take on Mexican cuisine. Run and operated by well-known players in the Geelong food scene, the owners of The Pickers Union bring their collective flair and passion to the night food scene!

The menu is packed with fresh, vibrant Mexican flavours and options to share, set to delight. Menu items start from as cheap as the charred street corn with queso and lime for $9 with tacos, quesadillas, and also larger mains that can be shared for a great experience. In addition, we offer an extensive beer, wine, and cocktail list. Oh, and of course Tequila, Mezcal, and Margaritas!

Many vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are available.

We are open 6 days a week, and hold a license until 1 am on weekends. The restaurant is family-friendly, wheelchair accessible, and available for functions.

We got there early and they were kindly able to seat us. The waitress was very friendly and the service was fast! We loved the tacos and margaritas but found the nachos a bit dry. We would both come back again to try more of the menu!

Celebrated birthday in group of 10. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and were impressed with the friendly service and the fact that all meals were delivered at the same time. We also appreciated being allowed to bring our own birthday cake at no extra cost. The only slight detraction was the music level which was a little on the loud side for a couple of us "oldies"; no big deal though. Will be back.

This place never seems to disappoint. Always delivers amazing food, exceptional cocktails & the staff and very friendly. If you want good Mexican in geelong this is your place.

Went for my birthday with a group of 10 friends. I wrote in the booking notes that I'd love fun staff serving us because our group were parents on a kid-free night out. We were given a booth, which was a little squishy with 10 people, but staff offered a single seat at the end so we could spread out a little more. The staff were so good with serving drinks, making sure our orders were taken as soon as we decided, and keeping the energy positive. They even brought us a tray of watermelon tequila shooters for celebratory fun. Small place and good vibes, a great night out.

Simply the best Mexican in Geelong… Huge variety of Mexican beer, cocktails and food! Service was so quick and smooth! Staff was very friendly and guided us through the menus. Tasty, fresh and reasonably priced for what you get!

Been to El Santo many times and feel the quality has slipped of late. It was already over priced but now it is even more so. Staff friendly as always however.
