   Beautiful outdoor grounds, fabulous food and great service. The short ribs are delicious and the sticky buns never disappoint.

   Service and ambience was great. Salmon was overcooked. There continues to be bad reviews about food quality which must be addressed. Ambience only gets you so far. At the end of the day people go to eat, prices are high for plastic chair seating so food quality has to be great and it’s not.

   Everything was quite good, but they made us wait 25 minutes past the time of our reservation. The front desk told us it was because they were waiting for our table to free up, but when we got seated, there was an abundance of empty tables in the section that we were seated in Although the food was great and the server did a great job, having to wait that long for a reserved table was very frustrating. And to be lied about it makes it worse. I’d expect better at a place like this

   I saw this on tik tok and thought we’d give it a go. I know I wanted to go somewhere where I could sit outside and have a view, and this was exactly it! I am a foodie through and through and this place did not disappoint. I got the trout that was essentially breaded with almonds on top of some scalloped potatoes with green beans and it was splendid. There was an Oscar style fillet that was on the specials menu that was probably the best piece of meat I’ve ever had. I am so impressed and would recommend this first and foremost for an elevated dining experience!

   Fantastic for celebrating special occasions. The restaurant took special care to prepare our meal with attention to being gluten free due to celiac disease.

   We love El Chorro and it has been our place to celebrate occasions since we moved to the valley. We love sitting on the patio near a fireplace for the views while sipping a perfect martini. Ask for Jennifer, she is the best!

   We made reservations three months in advance and requested certain tables that we had sit in the past and would like to be there again. When we arrived, they said our reservation had been canceled, but we had not canceled it and we had received a confirmation from OpenTable that reservation was still active. The tables we had requested were not available and we were seated in a subpar area. The food and the service was very good and which did help minimize the miscommunication. I might also add this is not the first time this has happened. We generally make reservations well in advance And there seems to be a miscommunication with management in providing our request.

   When my husband and I want to have a special dining experience, El Chorro is always at the top of our list. We have enjoyed our visits there every single time over our 10 years in Arizona. Moving here from the San Francisco Bay Area, our expectations for restaurants is quite high. El Chorro is truly outstanding. Today's Easter three course menu had wonderful selections for each course. There were easily 100+ diners and yet, we were seated right on our reservation time, had excellent service throughout, and the food was fantastic. The atmosphere is just beautiful and sitting outside in the gorgeous weather was so pleasant. This restaurant is managed so well. They make their guests their top priority!
