   Open Table only has dining room option, but when I got there, they said I booked patio table, the waiter said patio has heater, but the plastic of the patio was broken, there was wind coming through that hole in this cold winter weather. Food was good. They should separate indoor and patio reservations on open table.

   Dear Anonymous, I am really sorry to read about your review and that you end up being so uncomfortable at the patio, and that because of that it ruined your experience at El Born. As per the manager, there was a glitch with the OT up and it had set you up at the Patio (which doesn't make sense because we don't have the Patio tables available on OT for the winter months). He said, they offered you the bar, which is obviously not ideal, but I feel so bad you ended up seating outdoors with the freezing temperatures. We are in the process of changing the reservation system to Resy, that seems more reliable. Apologies for this situation.    We had a large group dinner with the chef’s menu on New Year’s Eve. The food and service was great. We thought it was great value for the price we paid. We will be back.

   Delicious food! Our favorite tapas were the dates with bacon. It is the only place I’ve ever been that offers a veggie paella, so that’s a plus if anyone in the party is vegetarian. The only thing I didn’t like much was that the bathroom’s floor was dirty and the hall had a humidity/ sweat smell. We dinned in the patio so we didn’t have to deal with the smell other than when we came in and out of the restaurant. Overall food and service were great so would totally come back!

   One of our group is a veggie and felt very well accommodated with the tasting menu. The rest of us were also wowed by the vegetable and odd fish dishes.

   I came from France to visit NYC and found El Born kind of randomly on the web, I decided to book a table there with my wife. Long story short : We spent an incredible moment there ! Amazing spanish tapas food, probably one of the best I've ever had, and for a very cheap price thanks to their "Tapas Tuesday" menu. The venue was also great, great staff and great atmosphere ! Thanks El Born!!

   We were very happy to have come across El Born for their bottomless brunch! The combination of the very tasty tapas with their delicious and not over the top brunch. Meals was perfectly paired with our bottomless sangria! Everyone there was great and our server was the best! We will definitely be back!

    Made reservation for my boss for a business meeting and they tried seating him outside in 50 degree weather. They should specify outside vs inside tables on their reservation system. Anyway, boss left without trying the spot which sucked.
