In a city where exceptional hospitality is anticipated with most dining experiences, Eight4Nine and its brilliant ownership, management, and staff ensure that every experience is a 10 out of 10 for every guest. A comment regarding their sense of community responsibility... There are not-for-profit and philanthropic groups all over town -- part of the DNA of this community and easily overlooked part of the magic of Palm Springs -- provides Eight4Nine with an enviable reputation for civic involvement and support. They're among the best in a community that has many spectacular dining destinations!

    Had brunch with a dear friend. The Bloody Mary was one of the best I've had! The food was amazing, plentiful and beautiful! Our server Sean took great care of us, and I can't wait to go back.

    One of our regular brunch spots for when we entertain guests. Had the lobster roll today for the first time. Would not recommend. Too much filler and way too big a portion - over twice what fits in the bun. Stick to a higher lobster ratio and less overall so the bunny can be used.

    The summer prefix menu is excellent. Try The watermelon gazpacho. For dessert make sure you try Albert's famous Coachella lime pie.

    Had a lovely evening at 849 celebrating a friend’s birthday. Food was amazing and we shared a bubbly. I plan to come back over the weekend and made a reservation for dinner with another friend who’s visiting from out of town.

    I normally love this restaurant but during my recent visit everything was off. It appeared they were short handed on a Tuesday night. The one waiter seemed to have the whole restaurant so we rarely saw him and had to rely on the busboy and door host to get water, bread, and my steak sent back. Asked for medium and it arrived well done, dry and tough, That said, their recovery was good and sort of took care of the problems. But unfortunately as my revised meal finally came out, my dining partner had finished her dinner and just had to wait for me to eat. Usually a great resturant probably but this was not their best night.
