Food was good however we sat for an hour and 20 minutes before any food arrived. Food was decent but it did not save the experience for me.

My family and I came her to celebrate Christmas. We arrived at opening and the restaurant didn’t have our reservation but promptly seated us. Soon after, we ordered our food. About two minutes later our waitress came back to our table and informed us that the majority of the dinner dim sum menu was unavailable. Here’s where I ask - why even give us the menu if nothing is available? We waited for almost two hours and our entrees never arrived. Ultimately, we walked out. A couple next to us that had no reservation had their dim sum and entrees make it to their table but we saw other groups waiting for food like us or walking out having had no food. Our waitress disappeared for the majority of the time and when we did see her she ignored us. The two dumplings that we DID order and that made it to our table, were bland and hollow. Not much filling. I do have to say that when we brought our issues to the host (I do not know his name) he seemed very concerned and went back to the kitchen to check on our order. When we did leave...The host refunded our money that we’d left to cover our two dim sum orders. He gave gave us a gift certificate for another visit but we do not plan on coming back.

Great quality food and plenty of parking. Servers / waiters are attentive to your needs. Would recommend for any occasion.

Went here for a group dinner. The Peking Duck was delicious. Everyone had a great time.

The food, fried spring rolls were glutinous. The dumplings too large, heavy and not subtle filling and dough was tough and not delicate. The stuffed tofu was not really stuffed but had one small shrimp laying on the top of a large square of tofu. The chicken chow mien was heavy on the noodles and short on the chicken, the rest of the dishes we ordered were not seasoned well but edible. East Ocean has been our Chinese Restaurant of choice but we won't be going back - unfortunately. They need a chef who knows how to use fine ingredients and more subtle flavors.
