We came in for the Dine LA event. Since we're the first group of customers requesting that, it took them a while to figure things out. But the food is great! the fried dragon balls are alright, but the peking duck( part of the Dine LA menu, decent portion) is so satifactorially buttery. Def sooth my homesickness for Chinese. I will def recommend you guys to participate the Dine LA events! Even if not for the event, their dishes look very inviting( a little pricy tho, better go with groups)

Roasted duck was really good. Other dishes are no better than the Panda Express. They were busy but there were only 2 people working, so we had to wait for a long time to make order and get ice water, etc.

Peking duck was really good. I was little concerned when I saw the dish. Because the duck skin color didn’t look so desirable. But it was really delicious. We also ordered lobster, sczhuan spicy fish, eggplant, steamed cod. We enjoyed them all but the lobster, you could find some better places in Monterrey Park than Duckhouse. The restaurant is above average, I would say. The servers were not so impressive. Never served spoons and couldn’t call them even though there was a call button for servers. The bell didn’t work.

The duck came out at room temperature, borderline cold. Aside from that, the flavor of everything was great. Highly r commend schezuan eggplant and hot & sour soup. Mushu pork was good as well.

The duck was worth it, everything else was just okay. Had to flag down service but our guy was on top of it once we got ahold of a server.

Very good food. Clean, comfortable, unlike most Chinese food place. The duck was cooked in proper Peking method, while most instead Chinese restaurant just give you Cantonese Roast Duck. Cantonese roast is not bad, but the skin is oily and not crispy. Proper Peking Duck skin is crispy in order to have the mouth feel when you wrap it in crape with the sauce and veggie. Other food was very good too. It is definitely a worthwhile place to go for good quality Chinese food.

My husband and I visited Duck House for the first time this Valentine's Day. We both love Peking Duck, and we've been hearing about how amazing Duck House is for quite some time now. We made a reservation, and made sure to say in the notes that we wanted to order a duck. They need 1 hour notice for the duck, but if you put it in the reservation it will be ready for your table about 15 minutes after arrival. The food was outstanding. We got the duck, the baby bok choy with bamboo, the mini buns, and some fried rice. The duck was hands down the best either of us has ever had. The service was a little slow, but they were SO busy and it was Valentine's Day... so we totally understood. We sat out on their patio, and were literally fawning over every bite. I can't recommend this place enough. SO GOOD!
