   The service was pretty bad. The mixed drinks were warm and the food was absolutely awful! I would never go back here unless I just wanted a beer or a glass of wine...they can't mess that up!

   The service was poor because they had a big rush at the same time as our reservation. Not really their fault. Took about 15 minutes to get our drink/food order after we sat down and we had to flag them ourselves. The food portions were pretty small relative to the prices (two of us had the crab cakes, one omelette, one chicken/waffles), but most of us enjoyed it. In the end, the waiter acknowledged the poor service and apologized and even gave us a discount off our bill, so we’ll be back to try again.

   Oh my goodness loved this restaurant!! The vibe was so fun, very NOLA feeling. The food was delicious and we had the best waitress. I was nervous to go because I just needed a place to eat for a party of 7 during ring day/family weekend and this was the only place that I could find that would accommodate us. It turned out to be delicious and so fun. Only downside is that they were only serving the Sunday brunch menu at the time so we didn’t get to experience the full menu, but it was a super busy weekend so I understand. Will go again for sure to try the rest of the menu!

   We have enjoyed dining here many times, but this time they had an off night I suppose. The catfish was not the same level as we have come to expect, and the mix drinks seemed to taste odd. We called it an early night and left. Typically we would have stayed and spent more money enjoying drinks at the bar. I would still recommend the Elixir to anyone.
