Fab for veggies! I usually get bored with vegetarian food but this was delicious even for non vegetarians.

I tried a vegetarian restaurant and it had a really nice vibe. Staff courteous but not as attentive as I would have liked and food was slow and not very warm when it arrived. I think it’s better than my initial experience and I would t be put off by this one experience. I’ll give them a second go at some point, there’s a very good experience just waiting to get out!

Just all a bit grubby, grungy and not overly welcoming. I was hoping it was really going to push what you can do with Vegan cuisine but it was all pretty pedestrian sadly. Not terrible, just not what it had been hyped to be.

It's always a double edge sword when I go to a fully vegetarian restaurant as I have more than three or four choices. Everyone person who we encountered in Down the Hatch had a smile and a quick word for us. The food was great. We split appetizers: an order of grilled halloumi and one of the battered mushrooms. Both were gone in minutes. We also split 'burgers, with my mum getting the falafel and me something I can't remember. A bean burger with sourcraut

Our first time at 'Down The Hatch' - as a vegetarian with a gluten allergy, it was unfortunately very restrictive for me. I had hoped, as most of the menu is burgers and 'dowgs' - it may have had gluten free buns. The burger without the bun was good and the chips too. The 'nachos' were disappointing, as they were actually fries covered in cheese etc. The service was very good and the ambience too.

Been meaning to try here for ages! When we finally got round to visiting it didn't disappoint! The whole menu is catered for vegetarian/vegan. Was quiet weird having so much choice from a menu for a change. Really want to go back and try more options. The deep Fried halloumi sticks with sweet chili are so good!

Power scran. Brought my two mates who aren’t anywhere near vegan and they were very impressed with the taste and quality of the food on offer. Would happily eat here every night. Peace out.
