   We visited (party of 6) Tuesday 23rd September to celebrate my Son's birthday and found the meal to be great (no complaints from anyone) and the service was excellent. Have been to the place before and will visit again. Thanks.

   The food took an age to arrive. I found a hair on my plate and my partners steak was cooked incorrectly! The replacement steak wasn't much better and arrived rather quickly! It looked a bit 'second hand'. The air con was freezing, the lights kept going off and on and I the waitress nearly dropped my plate into lap!!!!

   second visit this year and once again had a lovely meal with an excellent offer on a bottle of white wine. Followed by a lovely evening dancing to northern soul and motown. Shame not many stayed for this as it really was a great night but it helped that Barnsley's best played every record we requested!! .

   No steak knives to cut steak. Never asked if food was ok whilst eating. Ordered medium and it came rare.

   This is the second time iv been went with my daughter and son. Everything was great me and my daughter had the steak on the hot stone. Which we had a groupon for my son had the 12 onze gammon with chips now he's a fussy eater but enjoyed this. The service was great lovely girl. She served me both times iv been and she is lovely sorry don't no her name but she had long dark hair. Any way no complaints and will be going again thanks for a lovely piece of meat again

   First time dining here and although the food was very good, the service and ambience was greatly lacking. You're shown to your table and from that point it's a pub meal experience. You have to go up to the bar to place your order and it's the same to get drinks. Although they have a main restaurant they placed most guests in the lounge. Certainly not what I was expecting from a place which prices their (steak) meals at £21 - £55.

   Me and my daughter both love our steaks so couldn't wait to try this. We had the 16oz steaks on hot plate wow this was great we love the fact that we could cook it to both our liking which is meduim and the chips where lovely next time I'll have side salad instead only cause I'm on the slimming world diet which this place is ideal for as every thing is all fresh with big juicy steaks anyway loved it and will def being going back in the next few weeks

   Got the order wrong twice. Had to wait 20 minutes between main course and desert. They came out with our deserts but couldn't fit them on the table because they still hadnt removed the dirty plates from our main course. Food is great but the service was rubbish.

   The service was the worst I have experienced. The restaurant was not busy but we still waited over an hour and had to chase our order to then find it being served to another table. The food had been handled by strangers before it was served to us..the lager has gone and so the bar maid went off to change it and said she would bring it over. Twenty minutes later , I had to ask for the drink. It was my daughters birthday celebration and we all ended up hungry and very irritable. We will not be revisiting the restaurant.

    What a treat food cooked at your own pace and taste steak was delicious if you've never had steak on the rocks you gotta try it !
