Don’s Favorite Foods is a prix-fixe restaurant created by husband and wife team Chef Don Salamone and Kate Laurents in partnership with Sommelier Adam Galbraith.

Our menu changes monthly and highlights dishes Don grew up with as well as those he mastered though working at Michelin-starred restaurants across the country.

From Don: You may find gnocchi like my Ma used to make or Italian sausage modeled after my Godfather’s, Oreste “Ernie” Capone. You might find scallops still in their shells, Oregon pork in the style of Braciole, & popovers I learned to make from my mother-in-law, Terry, because she makes those every Christmas morning... beef tartare, sea urchin, caviar, etc too. These things are all my favorites.

Everything was great. All of the courses were so delicious. The rigatoni was perfection and the pistachio swmifreddo was magical. My husband and I had a wonderful date night.

I went there tonight for the first time. It exceeded my expectations. Don and his staff were friendly and professional. The food....OMG...it was fantastic. I even asked for more of the fabulous bread and pigged out and ordered a second fantastic dessert. Since I was the first one there, I got to talk to owners Don and Adam. They sat with me for a few minutes and made me feel like family. Every month there is a different menu. I can't wait to go back next month. Jill Davis

Fantastic food. Imaginative wine parings. Wonderful, friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend. An unusual concept but Don and the staff nail it. Have been many times and have always been pleased.

Food is absolutely amazing!! The personal touches by the chef were surprising, appreciated & commendable! Don shared the best way to eat gnocchi (all in 1 bite!) and the winter truffle does *not disappoint! The music was absolute perfection and the maître d' is the most welcoming (and handsome) guy ever. Thanks, Don & team!!

Amazing, intimate, funky little place hidden away in old town Beaverton of all places. The food was absolutely fantastic along with the wine pairing we opted for. The service was on point and Don himself comes out to explain some of the meals. I want to get the word out and let everyone know but I also want to keep this hidden gem to ourselves!
