   Nice dinner. Food was great and service was fine. Tasty, ample portions. The meatball appetizer was great along with the Caesar salad. Mushroom risotto was memorable.

   Five Stars – A Hidden Gem in Riverview! Donovan’s Meatery Steakhouse is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and a rustic-meets-modern atmosphere that sets the tone for a memorable meal. The steaks? Absolutely phenomenal. Perfectly aged, expertly seasoned, and grilled to perfection—each bite melts in your mouth. I highly recommend the ribeye, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The sides are just as impressive—especially the truffle mashed potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts. What really sets Donovan’s apart, though, is their drink selection. The pairings they offer elevate the dining experience to a whole new level. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned foodie, the staff is happy to guide you to the perfect pour. Service was top-notch, attentive without being intrusive, and the staff clearly takes pride in the food and the experience they deliver. If you’re in or near Riverview and looking for a place that combines bold flavors, excellent service, and a unique twist on the classic steakhouse, Donovan’s Meatery is a must-visit.    Seating arrangements are horrible. Very difficult for wait staff and patrons to move about. It is very loud.

   We had a wonderful 5th anniversary dinner at Donovan’s on Friday. The food was outstanding, and the service was even better (thank you, Heather!!). We love going to Donovan’s!

   The great alternative to the steakhouses in south Tampa if you don’t want to drive downtown and stay local.  respectable wine list, good cuts, great service.

   Tasty food. Great service. We went on a Wednesday night at prime time. Service was fantastic- everyone is very nice.

    Had a great time. Went early for dinner service so it was quiet. Had the lamb chops and chicken. Lamb chops are difficult but ok. The chicken was tasty. Service was wonderful. Would go back to try other dishes.
